Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Try A Coffee Enema

Coffee enemas are increasingly popular as a method to get rid of toxic waste from your colon. But that’s just one of the benefits of a coffee enema. There are several more ways in which coffee enemas are beneficial to your health.

Here are the Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Try A Coffee Enema

We live in a toxic environment and our bodies absorb harmful chemicals and toxins from medication, atmospheric pollution and an unhealthy diet.

To put this in perspective, our earth is overloaded with toxic metals and chemicals. Over 3000 chemicals are by law allowed to be added to foods in most countries. Pesticides and other toxic chemicals used in farming  get into our water supply.  The medication prescribed by doctors also contain chemicals which penetrate deep into our tissues and can be very difficult to eliminate.

Several diseases you hear of today arise due to toxins in the colon. Coffee enemas are a safe and convenient to get rid of toxins deep in the gut. Coffee is able to stimulate the liver without first having to pass through the digestive tract.  This results in a very powerful detoxifying effect.

2. Heals the colon and improves peristalsis

Apart from extracting toxic waste,  coffee enemas help to keep the digestive tract and colon clean without disturbing the delicate balance of flora present in a healthy gut.  Regular enemas help to keep your digestive tract clean and promote peristalsis.  This is the series of wave like muscle contractions which moves food through your digestive tract.  When you are fasting, a coffee enema will help peristalsis action and toxins will be removed from the body much faster.

3. Improves mood, mental clarity and increases energy levels

Caffeine and palmitates which enter the bloodstream create a powerful detoxifying effect. Elimination of  toxins through a detoxifying program results in a significant improvement of energy levels and also leads to clarity in thinking.  With poisons, toxic chemicals and debri  expelled from the bloodstream the body feels calm and peaceful.

4. Helps overcome sluggishness and depression

When the digestive system does not function properly and the liver is struggling to keep up with the unrelenting stream of chemicals and toxins people tend to feel sluggish and weighed down. Activities which are taken for granted seem to require a big effort.

Studies have shown a direct relationship between our physical state and our emotional well being. The buildup of environmental pollution over the years can result in feelings of depression. A coffee enema in combination with dietary changes and fasting has helped a large number of people relieve these feelings.

5. Improves digestion and eases bloating

Bloating, flatulence and cramping stomach pain are symptoms of poor digestion. This sometimes results from an overburdened liver that is not functioning as well as it could be.  Caffeine and other nutrients are absorbed through the colon wall directly into the liver. They bind to this heavy load of toxins and help flush them away. The liver is then relieved of a lot of this work enabling it to rest and repair.

6. Helps to eliminate candida and parasites

Exposure to chemicals and toxins in our food, water and air supply create such a tremendous load on our bodies making it difficult for balance to be maintained.  Often an overgrowth of Candida Albicans and other parasites occur creating colonies in our intestines.  Coffee enemas flushes out this overgrowth and used regularly in combination with proper diet can help to eliminate these problems.

7. Detoxifies the liverenema-detox

Thousands of chemicals are added to our food and almost 700 pollutants have been identified in the water supplies we drink from.  Agricultural crops are sprayed. Animals are injected with steroids, growth hormones and antibiotics.  Also a lot of our food today is genetically modified. All of these toxins are sent to the liver for processing.  The liver serves as a filter to clear toxins from our bloodstream.  Like any other filter it needs to be cleansed regularly.

Dr. Sandra Cabot, an expert on liver health and the author of many books  says that excess weight can be a symptom of liver dysfunction.  Another very good reason to try a coffee enema.

 8. Eases the reactions of detoxing such as “die-off”

Anyone who has experienced fasting will likely grimace at the thought of “die-off.” Especially if you suffer from Candida.  Unfortunately as all these toxins, dead pathogens and chemicals are released into the system they can make us feel unwell for a short time. The more toxic your body, the stronger this reaction can be.  Of course a 3 day fast will produce a stronger effect than a one day fast and every individual will have a different experience.

Food stimulates peristalsis. When you fast this does not happen as no food enters your colon. If you happen to have weak peristalsis to start with from poor nutrition or lack of exercise, you may find that these poisons are sitting in your bowel.   The quicker you can get rid of these poisons, the better you will feel. If they remain for too long in the intestines they start to be reabsorbed again. This is why enemas are so beneficial to a fasting program, and are recommended for their strong effect on peristalsis.  Very often the terrible headaches that accompany a detox vanish after an enema.

9. Helps with chronic health problems

There’s a lot of controversy surrounding theories on healing your body and also many different opinions about what food you should eat or which exercise to do. What most people agree upon is the merit of fasting. I doubt any health professional would disagree with the idea that fasting is a very good way to help your body eliminate toxins.  Enemas are the perfect compliment to fasting and a coffee enema is a very powerful agent for moving the toxins through your digestive tract and improve your health sooner.

10. A key element of the Gerson Therapy program

Dr Gerson was one of the first pioneers of nutritional therapy.  He achieved amazing results with cancer patients and helped many others suffering from chronic diseases.  Along with juicing, supplements and restricted diet, coffee enema was a key component of his regime. Much has been written on the success of Dr. Gerson and his treatment.

According to the book he wrote in 1958, A Cancer Therapy – Results of 50 Cases, he states that cancer patients whom he advised to stop taking pain medication ( because if created more stress on their already struggling liver) found that taking up to 6 coffee enemas per day controlled their pain effectively.

One day of fasting is heaven for our system and two or three days would be even better. Of course like anything there are rules, and it is wise to prepare adequately before embarking on a long fast (more than 3 days). Many of us have sad tales about how terribly sick we have made ourselves by being too eager and not educating ourselves about the rules of fasting.

It is highly recommended by health professionals that if you are suffering from chronic disease that you proceed slowly and cautiously.  We have a comprehensive guide on our website explaining all you need to know about enemas, called The Truth About Enemas.

Hi Mike, No, it shouldn’t cause bad cramps. Some people do get a little bit of cramping as their body expels the waste.
